"The mass participation on the 13th consecutive Friday of the Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege proves that the Palestinian people will continue to protest until their goals are achieved", Hamas Spokesperson Hazem Qasem said.    

In a press release on Friday, Qasem confirmed that the great numbers that took part in the Great March of Return reiterate that the Palestinians are determined to atttain their civil rights despite the suffering inflicted on them by the Israeli occupation.  

"The continuation of Great March of Return also proves the failure of Israeli occupation's attempts to prevent the Palestinians from taking part in the popular protests by terrorizing them since the beginning of the March," he added referring to the Israeli bombardment of the Palestinian resistance's positions in Gaza the past few weeks.    

He stressed that the upcoming days would prove the resilience  of the Palestinian people and the failure of inhumane and brutal Israeli measures imposed to stop them from gaining their rights because "the Palestinians believe that their cause is just."

Qasem noted that the Great March of Return conveyed a message to the US administration, which is trying to pass plans and schemes aiming to liquidate the Palestinians cause, that "the rebellious Palestinians will bury such schemes under their feet."
