The Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas reiterated the necessity of unity among the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli Occupation while praising the Palestinians who took part in the Great March of Return on the 14th consecutive Friday.  

In a press release on Friday, the Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasim said, “the Palestinians’ mass participation in the Great March of Return proves their right to return to their homeland and their insistence on preserving the Arab and Islamic character of Jerusalem.”  

“Through their participation in the Great March of Return, the Palestinians will draw the borders of their homeland, as they will not give up their right to return,” Qasim added. 

“The Great March of Return sent a message that all the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and in diaspora share the same destiny, so they must take part in these popular protests to shape their joint destiny,” he pointed out.  

He concluded that the continuation of the Great March of Return proves the failure of Israeli attempts to intimidate the Palestinians people through its frequent attacks on the Gaza Strip.
