“The Israeli Occupation has misled its people and claimed achieving progress in a new prisoner swap deal,” member of Hamas Political Bureau Khalil al-Hayya said. 

Al-Hayya reiterated his Movement’s willingness to reach a new prisoner exchange deal noting that the Israeli Occupation “knows the terms that Hamas has set to secure a new deal.”     

“The Israeli Occupation’s leadership must stop spreading rumors and lying to its people and the families of Israeli soldiers detained by Al-Qassam Brigades,” al-Hayya added.  

He confirmed that his Movement welcomes all efforts exerted to end the siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation “unconditionally and without paying a political price.”

“Gaza will not be part of projects aiming at liquidating the Palestinian cause,” al-Hayya stressed reaffirming the unity among the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
