The Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the arrest of former minister, Wasfi Qubaha, early Thursday morning by the Israeli Occupation.
The leader of the movement in the city of Jenin, Nazih Abu Aoun, said that the continuing Israeli arrests of leaders in the West Bank will not discourage the people's determination to confront the occupation.
Abu Aoun said that the absence of leadership will not affect the Palestinian street, which has known the path of liberation, in spite of the daily oppression they face.
He added that the arrest of Qubaha came after his efforts and actions that called for the support of the oppressed Palestinians.
Abu Aoun pointed out that these arrests come as a continuation of the Israeli Occupation's approach in emptying the West Bank of its leaders in preparation for the implementation of settlement projects the "Deal of the Century".
