A delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas will visit the Egyptian capital, Cairo, next Wednesday after receiving an invitation from the chief of Egypt’s General Intelligence Directorate General Abbas Kamel.
The Hamas delegation will discuss with the Egyptian officials the latest developments of the Palestinian internal reconciliation and the ways to lift the siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation on Gaza.
The delegation also will meet General Kamel on Thursday in a bid to revive the efforts exerted to achieve the internal Palestinian reconciliation after reaching a deadlock.
The delegation will be headed by the deputy chief of Hamas Political Bureau Saleh al-Arori and will include members of the Bureau Mosa Abu Marzoq, Ez’zt al-Rasheq, Khalil al-Hayya, Rawhi Mushtaha, and Husam Badran.
It’s worth mentioning that Egypt invited Hamas and Fatah a week ago to visit Cairo in order to resume the national reconciliation talks and end the internal division between the two rival parties.
