"The Palestinian resistance will not allow the Israeli Occupation to impose new rules of engagement," the head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Hanyia said.  

During the funeral of two children killed by the Israeli bombardment of Al-Katiba Square west of Gaza, Hanyia stressed that the Palestinian resistance will continue defending the Palestinian people against any aggression.  

"The Israeli Occupation will not evade the Palestinian resistance’s response to its aggression against the Palestinian people," he added. 

Great March of Return

Regarding the Great March of Return, Hanyia stressed that the Palestinians will continue taking part in the popular protests along Gaza’s eastern borders until achieving their goals, the foremost among them is the 11-year-old siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation on the coastal enclave to be broken.  

“Unless the unjust siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation on Gaza is completely lift, the Great March of Return will continue unabated until the Palestinian achieve their demands,” Hanyia added. 

Deal of the Century

In light of the efforts exerted to implement the so-called ‘Deal of the Century’, the top Hamas leader noted that the Palestinian people, inside and outside the Palestinian territories, stood up for their right to their homeland and Jerusalem and rejected the U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to liquidate the Palestinian cause. 

Hanyia hailed the Palestinian people for the sacrifices they make for the sake of their inalienable rights despite the schemes and conspiracies surrounding their cause.
