“Greenblatt's claims that Hamas destroyed the power lines supplying Gaza with electricity are just mere lies and fabrications,” the Hamas official Sami Abu Zohri said. 

Abu Zohri’s remarks came in response to the US President Donald Trump's Assistant Jason Greenblatt’s allegations that “Hamas rockets damaged power lines bringing electricity to Gaza.”

Abu Zohri confirmed that Greenblatt’s accusations of Hamas came as part of his bid to “exonerate the Israeli Occupation” from its continued crimes against the Palestinian people. 

The Hamas leader stressed that “the U.S. people deserve leaders better than those who serve the Israeli Occupation’s interests.”
