Detention of female Palestinian journalist Lama Khater by Israeli occupation is a failed and desperate attempt to intimidate and terrorise writers and journalists, Member of Hamas Political Bureau Mosa Dodeen said.
Dodeen stated that Khater’s detention by the Israeli occupation proves failure of the security cooperation between the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Israeli occupation in protecting the Palestinian people and their lands.
He insisted that the security cooperation provides the Israeli occupation a cover to commit more crimes against the Palestinian people.
He confirmed that the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the West Bank, including the detention of four women in less than a month and a half, will not deter them from resisting the occupation until they achieve their long-sought-after rights.
The Hamas leader noted that the pictures circulating on social media showing Israeli Occupation kidnapping Khater from her house prove the Israeli ‘state terror’ practised upon Palestinians.
The Hamas leader called upon concerned organizations to prosecute the leaders of the Israeli Occupation in the international courts.
