The head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh sent messages to the Arab leaders, briefing them on the latest issues regarding the Palestinian cause.
Haniyeh briefed the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Morocco’s King Mohammed VI on the systemized Israeli aggression practised upon the Palestinian people, the settlement expansions, the judaization of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the unjust siege imposed on Gaza, as well as the Palestinians detained in the Israeli jails.
He noted that the ‘Jewish nation-state’ law, which was passed recently in the Israeli Knesset, blatantly abolishes the Palestinian people’s right to their homeland in clear defiance of the U.N. resolutions calling for the Palestinians’ right to return to their homeland with compensation.
In the messages, Haniyeh reiterated his Movement’s position towards the Palestinian people’s right to defend their land and holy sites and not to waive their constants and rights, the foremost among them is their right to return to their homeland and to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The top Hamas chief called on both leaders to take a firm stance against the racist Israeli law along with the other racist laws that abolish the Palestinians’ constants and rights, and declare them null and void, as such racist laws will not grant the occupation legitimacy.
He urged the Arab, Islamic, and international sides to take immediate and effective action at all levels in order to criminalise such laws and halt their implementation. Haniyeh also called on the U.N. Committee of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination to denounce such laws and put an end to the arbitrary Israeli policies towards the Palestinians people, their homeland, and holy sites.
Hamas' current chief further reaffirmed the necessity to build an alliance that includes all the countries supporting the Palestinian cause to counter the appalling U.S. bias towards the Israeli Occupation and the adoption of its one-sided narrative.
He concluded his messages by calling for urgent and effective initiatives to reinforce the Palestinians’ resistance, thwart the Israeli schemes that aim to liquidate their cause, and put an end to the 12-year siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation on Gaza.
