Regarding release of Ahed al-Tamimi and her mother from Israeli Occupation prison

The Palestinian public received the news of the release of Ahed al-Tamimi and her mother with great pride and content after they spent eight months in Israeli jails. We congratulate them on their freedom and those concerned who continue to campaign for the release of imprisoned Palestinian detainees.

We are proud of the sacrifices made by the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli Occupation, and we affirm that the arrest of Ahed and her mother is further proof of the Israeli violations and crimes perpetrated against the unarmed children and women of Palestine. 

Hamas salutes the people of the free world who have exerted their efforts in spreading the message of Ahed and defended her rights and the rights of the people of Palestine.

We consider this victory as an incentive for further efforts to expose the crimes of the Israeli Occupation and spread the legitimate Palestinian cause world wide.

We stress that we will continue taking the path of resistance until the freedom of all Palestinian detainees are achieved.
