A senior Hamas delegation arrived on Monday evening in the Egyptian capital of Cairo to discuss the latest developments concerning the Palestinian situation. 

In a press release on Monday, Hamas spokesperson, Fawzi Barhoum said that the visit came after the Movement received an Egyptian invitation to resume talks of latest Palestinian developments. 

The delegation, including members of Hamas' Politburo, was headed by deputy of chief of Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri.
