Member of Hamas political bureau Mousa Abu Marzouq revealed the outcome of the meeting with Egyptian officials.

"The talks between the Hamas delegation and the Egyptian officials focused on the current crisis in Gaza, the mutual relations between the two sides and the Palestinian national reconciliation," Abu Marzouq said.

He noted that the Egyptian officials briefed the Hamas delegation on Fatah's response to Egypt's proposal regarding the internal reconcilliation. 

Abu Marzouq confirmed that his Movement will facilitate the transfer of absolute power over the Gaza Strip to the Palestinian Authority. 

He also described his Movement's talks with the Egyptian officials as "positive."

The Hamas delegation will head back to Gaza on Thursday and meet the head of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh.
