“We will spare no effort to release the Palestinians detained in the Israeli jails,” member of Hamas Political Bureau Mosa Dodeen said on Tuesday.  

During his participation in a sit-in in Gaza protesting the Palestinian Authority’s punitive measure to cut financial aid to the Palestinian detainees and ex-detainees, Dodeen added that no one shall deny the Palestinian detainees in the Israeli jails their rights which are guaranteed under the Palestinian constitution. 

He confirmed that the PA’s policy towards the Palestinian detainees contradicts its moral and national responsibility towards them.

He hailed the former head of the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Issa Qaraqe for the efforts he exerted in support of the Palestinians locked up in Israeli prisons. 

The Hamas’ leader called on the Palestinian Legislative Council to exert more effort in support of the Palestinian prisoners and their rights.
