The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the deliberate targeting of Said al-Meshal Cultural Centre by the Israeli Occupation calling it “barbaric act and an attack on the Palestinian culture.”
In a press release on Thursday evening, the Hamas’ spokesperson Hazem Qasem said that the deliberate targeting of the cultural centre, which was used to provide services to the Egyptian community in Gaza, is a “foiled Israeli attempt to sabotage the Egyptian efforts” to alleviate the Palestinians’ suffering in the Gaza Strip and “proves that the Israeli Occupation is the arch-enemy of all segments of the Arab and Islamic nations.”
The Israeli warplanes had targeted on Thursday evening Said al-Meshal Cultural Centre west of Gaza turning the five-storey building into rubble.
