“Hamas will meet the Palestinian factions in Cairo to discuss the latest developments concerning the Palestinian cause,” member of Hamas Political Bureau Ez’zt al-Rasheq said.

On Monday evening, Al-Rasheq tweeted that his Movement would discuss the ceasefire with the Israeli occupation and the national reconciliation.

He noted that the Palestinian factions would arrive in the Egyptian capital Cairo on Tuesday to meet with Hamas’ leaders. 

Meanwhile, the member of Hamas Political Bureau Husam Badran said that he is heading to Cairo to join his Movement’s delegation there.  

Badran reiterated his Movement’s willingness to achieve a national unity and reconciliation based on national partnership and the 2011 agreement between Hamas and Fatah.     

He reaffirmed the necessity that all Palestinian factions attend the meetings with his Movement.

Regarding the Great March of Return, Badran confirmed that the Palestinian people would continue their popular protests along Gaza’s eastern side while the Palestinian factions are exerting effort to alleviate the Palestinians’ suffering in Gaza.
