“Arbitrary Israeli detention of Palestinians in the West Bank is a desperate attempt to deter their resistance of the occupation,” Hamas’ leader Fathi al-Qarawi said.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, Al-Qarawi added that detaining the Palestinian women by the Israeli occupation must prompt the Palestinian people to continue their struggle against the occupation.

Al-Qarawi called on the human rights groups to disclose the gross violations committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians.

He urged the Palestinian people to be involved in popular and diplomatic resistance to force the Israeli occupation to end its arbitrary detention of the Palestinians.
