The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas confirmed on Tuesday evening that holding the Palestinian National Council meeting without participation of the Palestinian factions reflect President Mahmoud Abbas’ PA's exclusion and isolation policy.
In a press release, the Hamas’ spokesperson Hazem Qasem said, “holding the PNC meeting without participation of the Palestinian factions reflects the individualism of the PA and Fatah.”
"The PNC meeting reflects Abbas’ exclusion and isolation policy aimed at all the Palestinian factions," Qasem confirmed.
The 29th PNC meeting is set to be convened on Wednesday in Ramallah while the Palestinian factions, especially Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the liberation of Palestine, and the Democratic Front for the liberation of Palestine, oppose its convention.
