A delegation from Islamic Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Political Bureau, Saleh Al-Arouri on Wednesday morning, held a series of meetings with the leaders of the Palestinian factions arrived in Cairo.

The delegation, which included members of the Political Bureau at home and abroad, met with delegations of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Al-Ahrar Movement, the Popular Resistance Committees, Al-Mujahideen Movement and the Popular Resistance Movement.

The meetings handeled three issues: the humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, the cease-fire with the Israeli Occupation and the Palestinian internal reconciliation.

An in-depth discussion regarding the Palestinian needs and the requirements needed to achieve a truce with the Israeli Occupation and the mechanisms required to achieve an internal reconciliation were reviewed.

The delegation briefed the factions on the Egyptian efforts and the dialogues conducted by Hamas with the different parties in the three files, praising the work of the Egyptian government and its devoted efforts to make these files prevail.

Hamas's delegation expressed its surprise at the amount of false rumors that are surfacing about the nature of the meetings.

On their part, the faction's leaders praised Hamas for consulting the national factions on these issues, reiterating that national partnership is a step in the right direction for the advancement of various files and issues.

It is expected that in the coming hours the rest of the Palestinian factions, especially the PLO factions, will complete the consultations on the three issues. A unified Palestinian national vision is being formulated to deal with these issues.
