“The Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege left the Israeli occupation in a state of hysteria and confusion,” Hamas’ spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanou said.

In a press release, al-Qanou added that the popular protests along Gaza’s eastern side will pressure the Israeli occupation to meet the Palestinian demands, stressing that the Great March of Return will continue unabated until it achieves its goals, the foremost among them is lifting the siege imposed on the coastal enclave.

More than 20,000 Palestinians took part in the peaceful protests along Gaza’s borders on the 22nd Friday of the Great March of Return, which was dubbed ‘Demonstrators for Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque’.
