Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas denied rumors being circulated by Wattan 24 news website that it applied for opening diplomatic representation office in Malaysia to help improve economic situation in Gaza. 

In a press release, the Movement described such claims as “fabricated lies.” 

The Movement also dismissed claims about a press release being issued by the Hamas’ head abroad on this matter. 

Hamas confirmed that such fake news is part of a systematic propaganda campaign launched by some sides against Hamas and its national positions.
