Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh offered Malaysia’s Prime Minister Mahtmir Mohammed his congratulations on the 61st anniversary of his country’s independence.   

In a congratulatory message, Haniyeh expressed his appreciation to Malaysia’s role and stances in support of the Palestinian people and cause.  

Haniyeh hailed the close relations between the Malaysian and Palestinian peoples hoping for improving such partnership in a way that best serves the two countries.    

“Hamas, along with the Palestinian people, congratulates you on this national day, while you are leading Malaysia to development and prosperity,” Hanyia said addressing Malaysia’s PM.  

The top Hamas leader wished the Malaysian PM, government, and people a future of development and prosperity.
