"The settlement projects in the occupied West Bank proves the failure of the peace proposals with the Israeli Occupation," Hamas’ leader Abdel Hakim Hanini said. 

In a press release, Hanini confirmed that resistance is the sole option to deter the Israeli Occupation and halt its settlement expansion and ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people. 

In response to the legalisation of new outposts west of Ramallah by Israeli court, Hanini said that such settlement projects debunk claims of political achievements by those calling for negotiations with the Israeli Occupation and prove failure of the two-state solution, which no longer has basis on the ground.  

He added that the Israeli court’s ruling paves the way for legalising all outposts in the occupied West Bank. 

He confirmed that the settlement expansion made it abundantly clear that the Israeli Occupation plans to confiscate Palestinian lands.  

Hanini hailed the Palestinian people for the sacrifices they made as part of their bid to deter the Israeli Occupation from legalizing new outposts in the occupied West Bank.  

The Hamas’ leader call on the Palestinian people to unite in order to halt settlement expansion and exert more popular efforts to resist the Israeli plans.
