The decision of the so-called ‘Israel’s top court’ to evacuate and demolish Khan al-Ahmr is a new Israeli crime added to its record against the Palestinian people. 

Hamas confirms that the Israeli courts is a mere tool to implement the policies of the Israeli authorities, as the Israeli Occupation always tries to conceal its barbaric nature as part of its bid to legalize its policies and boast about how it’s a ‘democratic state’.    

Hamas holds the Israeli Occupation responsible for the consequences of its crime against Khan al-Ahmr.

Hamas hails the Khan al-Ahmr’s residents for the steadfastness they had shown during the past weeks while defending their land, which would continue with the support of the Palestinian people until the Israeli decision is reversed.

Such decision comes as part of a systematic Israeli plan to change reality on the ground in Jerusalem with U.S. backing for such move and complicity in such crime amidst the Islamic and Arab nations’ silence on these policies and the continuation of the security collaboration between the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli Occupation. 

We call on all segments of the Palestinian people to protest and resist such a move and foil the Israeli plans for settlement expansion.  

We confirm that the resistance is the sole option to deter the Israeli Occupation from implementing its schemes targeting the Palestinian people and their lands. 

We urge the Palestinian factions and institutions to hold rallies and protests across Palestine in solidarity with the Khan al-Ahmr’s residents.
