Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Hanyia confirmed that the option of resistance is the shortest way to end the Israeli occupation and liberate Palestine and its holy places.

During the funeral of the police officer Abdel Rahim Abbas who was sadly killed in an accident while on duty, Hanyia stressed that his Movement will not waive the Palestinian people’s rights, including their right to return to their homeland nor will it make concessions on Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque. 

Hanyia reiterated his Movement’s opposition to normalization of ties with the Israeli Occupation. 

Hamas' top leader hailed Abbas for saving the lives of innocent Palestinians by defusing many unexploded Israeli bombs and missiles that have been left by the occupation during its aggression on Gaza.

It’s worth mentioning that Abbas was killed in an accidental explosion at a police bomb disposal unit’s headquarters in Gaza. 

The head of Hamas Politburo praised the efforts exerted by the Palestinian security forces while performing their national duty towards the Palestinian people.
