The mass participation on the 25th Friday of the Great March of Return highlights the Palestinian people’s determination to continue their popular and peaceful protests along the Gaza borders until the Israeli occupation meets their legitimate demands, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem said.

 In a press release, Qasem added that as far as the Great March of Return goes on, the Palestinian people will become more determined on achieving their legitimate demands.  

“The Israeli Occupation would be deluded if it thought that its crimes against the Palestinian people would deter them from taking part in the Great March of Return,” Qasem continued noting that the increasing number of peaceful protesters in the demonstrations proves such claim.

It is worth noting that thousands of Palestinians have marched to the Gaza’s eastern borders over the past 25 weeks, demanding their right to return to their homeland and the siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation on the Gaza Strip to be lifted.

Three Palestinians were killed and more than 200 wounded during the violent Israeli crackdown on the Great March of Return on its 25th Friday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported.
