The motive behind the Israeli settlers’ calls to break into Al-Aqsa Mosque is imposing a new reality on the ground that the Palestinians would be compelled to accept, Hamas leader Muhammad Abu-Teir stated.

Abu-Teir said that such violations are similar to those the settlers had conducted before that aimed at forcing the Palestinians out of their homes, lands, and neighborhoods until they created a new reality resulted in the expansion the illegal settlements in the West Bank.

These are continual attempts backed by the municipalities of the Israeli occupation, as they motivate the settler to carry out such violations and serve them protection, the Hamas leader added.

Abu-Teir stressed that Palestinians should fight off these violations and breakings into the holy sites to fail all these illegal schemes and plans.

He called upon the Palestinian people, and the free people of the world to combat the Israeli violations and desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque with all possible means.

“The people of Jerusalem are our credit, and we trust their will and ability to defends and protect Al-Aqsa,” concluded Abu-Teir.
