Hamas once again held Egypt fully responsible for the taking of 4 Palestinians on its territories, demanding Egypt to release the abductees and disclose their whereabouts.

In a rally on front of the Egyptian embassy in Gaza on Friday, Hamas member of Political Bureau Khalil Alhayya said that Hamas finds it surprising that 2 weeks have passed since the abduction with no shred of information to tell on their condition.

Alhayya slammed the Egyptian media for its criticism and blaming Hamas for denouncing the abduction, saying that Egyptian media should instead be standing with the abductees.

"We tell the kidnappers, if you aim to divert the resistance away from preparation and the confrontation with the [Zionist] enemy, you are wrong. Our guns will point nowhere but towards the occupation. Our direction is towards Jerusalem the liberation of all of Palestine.” Alhayya said, addressing the perpetrators.

Alhayya stressed that Hamas will not forget or leave the abductees behind, and will exert every possible effort to get them back to their homes.

"We stand in solidarity with ourselves and with the families of the abductees, and we hope to get them back to their homes in Gaza soon." Alhayya added.

Thousands of Palestinians took part in a mass rally in front of the Egyptian Embassy in Gaza on Friday condemning the abduction of the four Palestinian youths in Egypt in August.
