.The Hamas leader Rafat Morra considered the decision of some Arab states, without mentioning any, to reject the 'refugee travel document' held by the Palestinian refugees and to substitute it with a temporary passport 'a part of the ‘deal of the century’ which aims at liquidating the Palestinian cause.”

During an activity held by Hamas in the Palestinian refugee camp, Nhar al-Bared, north Lebanon, Morra added that the Israeli Occupation will be “the first to reap the fruits of this conspiracy being plotted behind the closed doors and targeting the Palestinian cause.” 

Morra confirmed that the option of resistance is the sole and efficient way to face the challenges facing the Palestinian cause, including ‘the deal of the century’ noting that all segments of the Palestinian people have rejected such a deal and will thwart it by all possible.

The Hamas leader stressed that the Palestinian people will uphold their identity and rights; above all comes their right to return to their homeland from which they were expelled in 1948 by Israeli gangs.

Morra warned of “the move taken by some Arab countries to grant the Palestinian refugees a 'temporary passport' to pressure them to accept an alternative to the refugee travel document in order to pave the way for stripping them of their refugee status.” 

He reiterated the need to embrace the option of resistance until the Palestinian people’s demands are met.
