The Hamas Leader Musa Dudeen condemned the arbitrary arrests made by the Israeli Occupation Forces in a crackdown on journalists and writers in the West Bank.
Dudeen added that all the occupation’s attacks on journalists, the last of which was the detention of the journalist Israa’ Lafi, are failed attempts to block reality and prevent the ‘free pens’ from exposing the Israeli crimes perpetrated against the Palestinian people.
‘The increasing number of journalists and legalists held at the Israeli jails is a clear-cut evidence that the Israeli Occupation fears communicating reality to the whole world through journalism and writing,’ the Hamas leader added.
He called on all the free writers worldwide to focus on the Israeli Occupation’s violations and to expose their unlawful acts against the Palestinian people, above all the crimes against journalists.
