The Palestinian people’s battle in Khan al-Ahmr against the Israeli occupation and settlement expansion is a continuation of their freedom struggle against the forcible displacement policy adopted by the Israeli occupation, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem said. 

Qasem confirmed that the steadfastness of Khan al-Ahmr’s residents in the face of Israeli occupation’s attempts to expel them from their hometown and  judaize their village would thwart the Israeli endeavors to fake the historical facts about that Palestinian village.

He added that the Palestinian people would continue their fight for their homeland as it is the essence of conflict with the Israeli occupation, which has been forcing the Palestinian people out of their homeland and replacing them with Israeli settlers from around the globe in the biggest land-grab in history. 

The Hamas spokesperson explained that the Palestinian people must restore the national unity and embrace the option of resistance with all means possible in order to stop the settlement expansion and end the occupation.
