Senior Hamas delegation, headed by Deputy Hamas Chief Saleh al-Aruri, has ended its visit to Cairo.

During the four-day visit, the Hamas officials held several discussions with the Egyptian Intelligence, rounding off with a meeting with the Egyptian Intelligence Minister Major General Abbas Kamel.

The meetings were characterized of being open and serious and of tackling all issues related to the Palestinian cause, bilateral relations, and current and future political developments.

Indeed, both parties reciprocated trust and understanding about all the issues being discussed.

The Egyptian officials stressed that they would continue their efforts at all levels, especially lifting the Israeli siege and achieving Palestinian reconciliation.

On the other hand, Hamas welcomed and supported the Egyptian efforts, reaffirming their importance for the Palestinians.
