The Palestinian masses who flow into the Gaza eastern borders to take part in Great March of the Return have foiled a ‘conspiracy’ against the coastal territory, Member of Hamas Political Bureau Mahmoud al-Zahar.   

In a press release, al-Zahar added that the conspiracy involves slashing salaries of Gaza's governmental employees and reducing medical and power supplies to the coastal enclave to pave the way for the ‘Deal of the Century’.  

The prominent Hamas leader confirmed that these plans seek to deter the Palestinian people from embracing the option of resistance and are in line with a bigger scheme aiming to incite the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip against the resistance.

On the contrary, he added, the Palestinian people have participated in the weekly protests along the Gaza eastern borders despite the violent Israeli crackdown on the peaceful demonstrations which has resulted in 197 Palestinian victims and up to 22000 of causalities so far.
