The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas commented today on the designation of 3 Hamas and Qassam leaders as “global terrorists” by the United States, saying that this step is immoral and is contrary to the international law.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri stressed in a press release today that such move encourages the Israeli terrorism, adding that putting the 3 leaders in the terror blacklist is worthless, and will not succeed in preventing Hamas from committing to its role and duty in protecting the Palestinian people and liberating their land.

The United States had put three senior leaders of Hamas, Yehia Al-Sinwar, Rawhi Mushtaha and Qassam general commander Mohammed Deif , on its terror blacklist Tuesday, naming them "specially designated global terrorists" under US law.
