The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas extended its heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Qatar and the Qatar Fund for Development for announcing that they plan to provide $150 million of urgent humanitarian aid to the beleaguered people in the Gaza Strip .

On his Twitter account, the member of Hamas Political Bureau Ez’zt al-Rasheq expressed the movement’s “sincere thanks to the Qatari Emir, government, and people for supporting the Palestinian people.” He appreciated the announcement of the Qatar Fund for Development that they are going to send $150 million as urgent humanitarian assistance to the blockaded Gaza.

The Hamas leader noted that such a move aims to “alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip that has been under Israeli siege for more than 12 years.”
