The head of Hamas Politburo Ismael Hanyia and a number of Hamas officials received the Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative Mustafa al-Barghuti this morning in Gaza.

During the meeting, Hanyia lauded the important roles the Palestinian National Initiative occupies, especially that pertaining to popular resistance, defending the Palestinian cause, and exposing the Israeli crimes.

The two sides had a profound discussion about the current political developments and the efforts to break the Israeli siege and to restore the Palestinian unity. They also shared viewpoints on the methods to tackle the ‘Deal of the Century’ and the attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue.
