In the aftermath of the appalling murder of the 45-year-old Palestinian woman Aisha al-Rabi after being attacked, along with her husband, by Israeli settlers who hurled their car with stones in Nablus, the West Bank, the member of Hamas Political Bureau Husam Badran stated the following:

The Israeli aggression against the Palestinian woman Aisha al-Rabi is a war crime and vicious assault against unarmed civilians.

Such a terror act against the Palestinian civilians would not have been perpetrated if the settlers were not enormously supported by the Israeli government and guarded by the Israeli occupation forces. 

The Palestinian people will not keep silent while the Israeli settlers are trying to impose a new reality in the West Bank and committing atrocities against the Palestinians.  

Finally, Hamas calls on the Palestinian Authority to support the Palestinian people in their popular protests against the ongoing Israeli aggression and to take part in a national program that is apt for putting an end to the Israeli settlers’ attacks and assaults against the unarmed civilians.
