The statement of the U.S. envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt in which he turned a blind eye to the abhorrent killings of Palestinian children and women by Israeli occupation forces is indicative of his gross bias against the Palestinian people, Hamas leader Sami Abu Zohri said.

In a press release, Abu Zohri said, “Greenblatt shed tears over a broken window of an Israeli house, whereas he had ignored shedding blood of Palestinian women and kids at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.”

Abu Zohri added that such double standards that favor the Israeli occupation prompt us to question the role of the Trump’s administration in the region.

Greenblatt claimed on Wednesday that Hamas “sets back the world’s efforts to better the lives of Palestinians in Gaza”, referring to the rockets allegedly fired onto the Israeli occupation yesterday.

In turn, the Joint Operation Room of the Palestinian Resistance Factions vehemently denied it had fired any rockets, holding the Israeli occupation responsible for any future escalation.
