The member of Hamas Political Bureau Musa Abu Marzoq downplayed the statements made by the Israeli occupation’s leaders to threaten the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

In a tweet, Abu Marzoq said, “Most of the statements issued by Israeli leaders these days cannot be taken seriously, as they are directed to the Israeli electors”, as the Israeli polls will be conducted soon.

Earlier this month, the Israeli War Minister Avigdor Lieberman has threatened to launch a “serious blow to Hamas” if the Great March of Return continues.

On the other hand, Abu Marzoq confirmed that the Palestinian resistance must be ready for any Israeli aggression aganist the Palestinian people, as the Israeli occupation is notorious for violating ceasefire agreements.

The Hamas leader reiterated the necessity to “restore the Palestinian national unity, heal the internal division, and prioritize the national interests.”
