The Balfour Declaration is null and void and it is a “promise of he who does not own to those who do not deserve,” Hamas' Department of Refugee Affairs stated.

In a press release, the office confirmed that no one can abolish the Palestinian refugees’ right to return to their towns and villages, from which they were forced out in 1948 by Zionist gangs, adding that this right is a ‘sacred constant’ for the refugees.

“The Palestinian people will not accept partial solutions, such as resettling the refugees in the neighbouring countries,” the Hamas Refugee Division clarified.

It reaffirmed the necessity to embrace the option of resistance as a sole, strategic choice by which the Palestinians can end the occupation, restore the their rights, and liberate their holy places.

Hamas Refugee Division called for protecting the Palestinian refugees, wherever they are living, and provide them a decent and secure life.

Moreover, it called on the Palestinian people to continue standing steadfast in their struggle against the occupation and its schemes urging the Arab and Islamic nations to support the Palestinians and their just cause.

The Refugee Division hailed the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza for defending their territories and holy places.
