On the heels of the terrorist attack against Egyptian Coptic Christians on Friday, the Hamas leader Taher al-Nunu stated the following:  

Hamas Movement denounces the terrorist attack on a bus carrying innocent Egyptian civilians perpetrated by terrorist gunmen south of Cairo.

This terror act committed against innocents just for being Coptic Christian is an appalling crime that violates all humanitarian laws and religious principles.  

On this sorrowful occasion, Hamas Movement extends its sincerest condolences to the victims’ families. It vehemently condemns this terror act and reiterates its solidarity with the Egyptian people.
