Hamas Spokesman Fawzi Barhoum stated the following:
All praise to the courageous Palestinian resistance which tackled the coward Israeli aggression on Khan Younis. What is being done by the Palestinian resistance proves that it is prepared and ready to defend the Palestinians.
The Palestinians resistance is ready to fulfil its national duty and the Israeli occupation will pay the price for its crimes.

The southern Gaza, city of Khan Younis has been under heavy bombing of the Israeli fighters and drones for more than an hour.
The Palestinian ministry of health in Gaza announced that six Palestinians were killed in the bombing and seven others were wounded.
In a statement, the ministry identified six of the martyrs as Nouriddin Salama, 37, Mohammad al-Qarra, 23, Alaa Qweeder, 22, Mustafa abu-Odeh, 21, and Mahmoud Musabbeh, 25.
The bombing started with the assassination of a senior leader of Hamas military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, Nour Baraka, 37 years old.
