The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas denounced the suppression of solidarity rallies with Al-Aqsa by the PA's security apparatus in occupied West Bank, particularly in Bethlehem and Jenin.
In a press statement on Friday, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said that the quelling of pro-Aqsa rallies by the PA's security forces constitutes a national crime.
Abu Zuhri added that Hamas deems such practices by the PA as a participation in the Israeli crime against Al-Aqsa mosque.
The PA's security forces quelled several marches that took to street in solidarity with Al-Aqsa mosque, detained 17 participants and prevented the protesters from getting to contact points with the Israeli occupation forces.
