The failure of the UN Security Council to draft a resolution denouncing the Israeli attacks on Gaza will encourage the Israeli occupation to perpetrate more crimes
The failure of the UN Security Council to draft a resolution denouncing the Israeli attacks on Gaza will encourage the Israeli occupation to perpetrate more crimes against the Palestinian people, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem said.
In a press release, Qasem condemned the Israeli occupation-biased US position in the UN Security Council, which “makes the US complicit in the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.”
Qasem confirmed that the Israeli occupation considers itself a state that is entitled override the international law, as it has crossed all the red lines during the last massive aggression on the Gaza Strip including the international resolutions and conventions.
During its latest aggression on Gaza, the Israeli occupation killed at least six civilians and wounded dozens, turning a blind eye to civilian protection guaranteed by Fourth Geneva Convention and International Humanitarian Law.
