The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas strongly condemns the US State Department’s decision to put Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Aruri on terror blacklist and announce a reward for information leading to his location.
The US move is influenced by pressure from Netanyahu’s government and as part of the US policies, which are biased against the Palestinian people and their cause.
While Hamas rejects this arbitrary decision, the Palestinian resistance movement confirms that al-Aruri will continue performing his national duty to support the Palestinian people in their struggle against the occupation and foil the Israeli schemes targeting their cause.
Hamas considers the latest US decision about its deputy leader an assault on the Palestinian people and their cause, as it reflects a flagrant bias towards the Israeli occupation and its aggressive policies towards the Palestinians.
The resistance movement also denounces the US decision to target all the resistance groups in the region by adding Khalil Harb and Hisham Tabatabai on terror blacklist. Indeed, this decision reflects political and legal bankruptcy.
Hamas calls on the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and free people of the world to strongly condemn this blatant assault on the Palestinian people and their cause and prevent such decision from entering into force at all levels.
