Member of Hamas Political Bureau Mosa Abu Marzoq said that a high-profile delegation from Hamas will visit Cairo soon to discuss the latest developments concerning the Palestinian cause.
In a press release, Abu Marzoq added that the delegation, led by Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Aruri, will arrive in the Egyptian capital on Wednesday to resume the reconciliation talks.
Abu Marzoq noted that the visit came as part of Hamas’ endeavours to restore the national unity and heal the internal rift.
In a related context, Abu Marzoq said that the chief of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Hanyia “is planning to go on an external tour.”
“Several Arab and Islamic states, among other counties around the world, expressed their willingness to receive an official delegation from Hamas, led by Hanyia,” Abu Marzoq added.
The Hamas leader noted that the date for Hanyia’s external tour has not been set yet.
