Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri denies the false reports circulated by Sama News Agency, in which it claimed that Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook asked Egypt for permission to visit Gaza in order to meet with the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Nikolay Mladenov to discuss Calm issues, and that Abu Marzook was not granted that permission.

Abu Zuhri denied any arrangement for such meeting with Mladenov, and added that the fact that Rafah crossing is originally closed reveals such claims by Sama to be utter fabrications.

Hamas urged Sama agency to stop circulating false news and fabricated Israeli reports, while it reserving the legal right to sue Sama agency for such faulty claims.
