The Hamas Spokesperson Fawzi Barhom stated the following:
After receiving an invitation from Egypt, a senior delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, led by the movement’s deputy leader Saleh al-Aruri, will arrive in Cairo on Wednesday.
The delegation, including members of Hamas Political Bureau Mosa Abu Marzoq, Khalil al-Hayya, Ez’zt al-Rasheq, Rawhi Mushtaha, and Husam Badran, will discuss with Egyptian officials the ways to boost the bilateral relations, end the Israeli siege on Gaza, and restore the national unity on the basis of previous agreements, especially the 2011 Cairo Agreement.
