The Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem stated the following:

The determination of the Palestinian people to participate in the Great Return March reflects the Palestinians’ iron will to achieve the goals of the march, above all breaking the crippling siege imposed by the Israeli occupation since 2006.

The Palestinian people always prove that they are able to defy the Israeli occupation until getting their absolute freedom and enjoying their rights.

The massive popular support to the Great Return March, whose slogan is ‘Resistance unites us, Resistance is victorious’, highlights that the option of resistance can unite all the Palestinian people in their freedom struggle to return to their homelands and obtain their freedom.
