Hamas does not seek to establish a state in Gaza or separate the coastal enclave from Palestine, member of the movement’s political bureau Mosa Abu Marzoq said. 

On his Twitter account, Abu Marzoq denied rumours about Hamas’ refusal to achieve national reconciliation and unity.

Abu Marzoq confirmed that his movement rejected unilateralism and monopoly of power and national decisions.

The Hamas leader noted that his movement strives for a true partnership and national unity government that would supervise the parliamentary and legislative elections.
