The US draft resolution condemning Hamas’ resistance at the UN is dedicated to heaping pressure on all Palestinian factions, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem said.

In a press release, Qasem added that the US administration realised the critical role of the Palestinian resistance played to foil Washington’s proposals aiming at liquidating the Palestinian cause.     

The US is set to put forward a draft resolution denouncing the Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas, at the UN General Assembly.

The UN General Assembly is expected to vote on the US draft bill next Monday or Friday.
